Ok, we're really, really trying not to be heartless here, but know this: When someone calls to cancel a rental, there's an 80% chance that they use the death-in-the-family excuse with us. (yes, we've measured.) We've heard it so much, that A) we can't believe that so many people would stoop so low, and B) We don't believe it anymore. We're very sorry if you actually have a death in the family, because there are a lot of people out there who cry wolf and have ruined it for you and made us cold, heartless automatons.

We come across a lot of minor scuffs and scrapes on our cars when they go out on rentals - sometimes customers scrape a wheel, scratch a front bumper or bubble a tire (to name but three). These repairs are quick and relatively inexpensive to make and are billed from the security deposit in order to minimize the amount of time the car is off the road. Once your invoice has been settled, you can of course make a claim to your insurance company to be reimbursed for any charges.
Guests are required to pay for rental with a credit card from an internationally recognized issuer. The payment Credit Card MUST provide the extra Rental Car Insurance Coverages. Many banks offer this as a free perk when you use their credit card to pay for the rental. You can confirm this by calling your credit card issuer. We will also confirm this on every rental.
